Meditation

Ixchel was first introduced to meditation (in practice) during the summer of 2014 when she took her first yoga class. Though meditation was simply touched on during yoga, the more she practiced, the more present she became. Now looking back, she realizes that yoga was allowing her to be in the moment and mindful. Most people are usually “crisis meditators,” meaning they seek peace when stressed. The same was true for her. During a stressful period of life, she searched for a sense of peace and embraced meditation. In 2017 she dove deeper in practice and healing through Oneness Meditation. Over the last six years, she has continued to practice meditation off and on. She’s discovered and loves the version of herself when she is consistent in practice. She is slower to react or anger, is much more patient, and it is easier to find her inner peace. She realized during this challenging year that everyone could use more peace in their life.  In June of 2020, she completed the Chill Meditation Teacher Training and is excited to share the gift of meditation with you!
